Here is how this works in practice. Our aerial drone services across Australia field CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) RPA-certified pilots operating under approved ReOC (Remote Operator's Certificate) frameworks, with ACMA wireless licensing for video downlink and Airservices Australia coordination for controlled airspace.

Here is the short of it. Standard packages run DJI Inspire 3 with full-frame X9 8K, Freefly Alta X carrying ARRI Alexa Mini LF or RED V-Raptor, DJI Matrice 350 RTK for survey-grade work, and DJI Mavic 3 Cine for B-roll and recce.

Our preferred operator pool — Drone Options Sydney, Sky Pictures Melbourne, Drone Films Brisbane, and Heli Pictures Gold Coast — covers CBD permit work over Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House (UNESCO 2007), thermal mapping in the Daintree (oldest tropical rainforest at 180 million years), and high-altitude flight over Uluru-Kata Tjuta (UNESCO 1987 — Anangu sacred site), Kakadu (UNESCO 1981), Twelve Apostles on the Great Ocean Road, and the Blue Mountains (UNESCO 2000 — Three Sisters).

Here is what that looks like on the ground. Australia's drone regulatory environment is among the strictest in the Asia-Pacific. CASA's CASR Part 101 governs commercial RPA operations, no-fly zones cover all national parks unless special access is negotiated, and any flight over Aboriginal land needs Land Council consent — non-negotiable around Uluru, Kakadu, and Purnululu/Bungle Bungle (UNESCO 2003).

Here is how the picture comes together. Great Barrier Reef (UNESCO 1981) work is set up with GBRMPA, Shark Bay (UNESCO 1991) and Ningaloo Coast (UNESCO 2011) need DBCA permits in Western Australia, Tasmanian Wilderness (UNESCO 1982) flights are set up through Parks and Wildlife Tasmania, and Lord Howe Island (UNESCO 1982) needs Lord Howe Island Board approval.
